"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
Sometimes God only shows us one step at a time. Sometimes He uses all the work of one step to prepare us for a change of direction. Trust is a hard lesson to learn, and the more we ask for a faithful heart, the more God throws our way to make us stronger. It's not because He takes pleasure in watching us struggle on the hard days or in the waiting, but He does love to offer us opportunities to bless us, and He enjoys watching us become more fruitful and honestly devoted.
He knows the plan, He goes before you, and He is truly faithful, so never stop trusting God.
The Lord has been slowly teaching me what this business is for, and just how He can use anything or anyone.
I've never gone to art school or taken any business courses, so it's honest to say I've been learning as I go. I did spend three years at Bible colleges, seeking my place in God's work. When God handed me a paintbrush, at first I was confused. I mean, I LOVED being creative, but becoming an artist wasn't what I expected to do with my life. I wasn't sure how my art could lead people to God. The Lord has been slowly teaching me what this business is for, and just how He can use anything or anyone.
You might be waiting on God for answers or treading on a path you impatiently want to see ahead of (like me, honestly everyday). When we trust and rely on God's wisdom on a daily stride, He blesses us by leading the way and holds a lamp up to Himself. Life's not about knowing our future, but to see the face of The One who holds our future more clear.
