Frequently asked questions
How do your commissions work?
When will I receive my painting? (Shipping Information)
My processing time can take 3-7 business days for orders in my shop. Sometimes the processing of the payment will take a few days to go through to my bank, and then when I have full access to your payment I can head out to the post office.
When It comes to commissioned pieces, depending on volume of other orders I have, as well as my full time job as a stay at home mom, paintings ussually are finished within 10-25 days. Another factor that may cause your order to take awhile is if it's a rather large piece. When I work on paintings, all custom orders come first before any project, because my clients are my priority.
If someone needs their painting in a rush notify me before hand and I'll add a rush fee to your order to cover my time as well as extra speedy shipping fees.
After I have finished your special order I will send it off in a protected box, wraped in tons of bubble wrap, and sent with insured postal services. I also make sure I select the "Do Not Safe Drop" option, because I would hate to know your expensive art was sitting outdoors, in whatever weather conditions, and available for the taking to any passerby. If you'd like to add a signiture option, just let me know and I'll add it for no extra cost to you! I will then forward a notification with a tracking number to you, so you can follow your paintings' journey to its forever home.
If you have any more questions just send me a message on social media!
What's your refund & exchange policy?
Unfortunately I do not offer refunds at this time. If you are unhappy with a painting you have purchased, you may choose to send it back to exchange it with something else in store or have something custom made for something of equal value, though extra shipping costs may be applied. To prevent this from ever happening with any commissioned pieces, full transparency of the products true form will be shared with the customer before shipping day.

What materials do you use?
I love to paint on gallery wrapped canvases, especially on custom orders, because they have a deep edge and are such a high quality canvas. Though I have a few paintings I offer from time to time on other canvas types, which will always be clearly stated on the product page. Sometimes I'll paint on heavey weight or grey toned paper which are both beautiful behind a frame. I paint mainly with acrylic paints (medium and heavy body), because it drys the fastest (which is great for a mama like me who paints on and off throughout the day!) Sometimes I'll varnish pieces (a protective shiny coat). I might use some gold leaf from time to time too for an added finishing touch!
How do I care for my painting?
To clean a canvas painting, use a dry cloth to wipe any dust away. (Wet cloths can cause paint transfer.) Also direct sunlight can dullen a painting over time, but a coat of varnish can help protect a paintings lifespan (you can request this upon purchase if paintings are not yet varnished).
How do you price your work?
I use a formula that helps me consistently price my work based on the size of the painting. If you are looking for a particular size for a commissioned piece, here is the master price list to help you decide on what will work best for your space.
4x4" = $45
5x7" = $70
9x12" = $125
12x16" = $170
10x20" = $180
12x24" = $215
16x20" = $215
20x20" = $240
18x24" = $250
20x24" = $265
15x30" = $270
24x24" = $290
24x30" = $325
24X36" = $335
16x40" = $335
30x40" = $420
36x36" = $430
24x48" = $432
30x48" = $470
36x48" = $505
48x48" = $575
48x60" = $650
Out of country shipping information
When I ship over the border, I have to ensure that your painting will not be "safe dropped" on your front door. When packages are left unattended, theres the chace of it being stolen, not to mention sitting in terible weather conditions. To control this process, the only option postal services offer on my end is paying for a required signature. It is my goal to keep your painting safe and out of harms way, so this is an important feature to invest in. If you have found your painting on your doorstep, without signing, please notify me right away so I can rectify the mistake.
Do you paint realisim?
I used to paint very realistic paintings, but I found they took months to complete. I enjoy painting more abstract paintings because they are more about colour and movement, which is very freeing. When I paint abstract, I feel less focused on being a perfectionist and more focused in prayer and worship. It's apart of my process and style of work. See what I have done on my Gallery page to see more of what and how I like to paint.
Would you be willing to paint animals?
Animals are not my forte, especially pets, because I find painting animals is alot like painting people. I've painted other peoples pets in the past and they were not satisfied because I could not capture their personality and their finer details. It's not my talent to paint faces, unless its very abstract and in my style.
What do you believe about the Bible?
I believe that The Word of God is the truth, without error, and forever timeless (John 17:17, 2 Timothy 3:15-17, Psalm 119:160, 1 Peter 1:24-25). Therefore, The Bible is reliable for us to learn from and be a foundation in our lives (Hebrews 4:12, Ephesians 2:20). God is trustworthy, even in His ability to preserve the inerrancy of The Bible throughout history. The Bible is like a love letter from God, to reveal who He and His Son are, what separates us from God, His plan for the salvation of humankind through Jesus Christ, and His coming plans for the kingdom to come. It gives us detailed accounts of history and teaches us wisdom for our daily lives. It was written for every person on earth, in every generation and culture.
