Hand Painted Bibles
"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
What kind of Bibles do you offer?
I use ESV Journaling Bibles because they have the best surface to paint on and appeal to a wider audience for usage. The best Bibles to paint on are hardcover Bibles, because they won't bend the paint like a soft cover Bible would.
I can get single or double columned Bibles. They all have faint lined margins on the sides for note taking, prayer, or journaling use. Jesus's words are in black. Inside there is a guided salvation message, a Bible reading plan, topical word reference section, and a section dedicated to introducing all books of the Bible for deeper study.
The things I like to paint are landscapes, skies, plants, architecture, flowers, or just abstract. I love to paint things that flow, with a heavy amount of free handed brush strokes creating that abstract effect.
